Bergen Blended Academy is a very special place. Lives are changed here and that is all thanks to the Director of the school, Kumar. He genuinely cares for the students and goes out if his way to make sure they get the best possible education and are prepared to make their career goals a reality.

The school has a Professional Career Development Counselor with an MBA in Human Resources, who has over 15 years experience in Human Resources. She writes your resume and cover letter and conducts an amazing seminar on resume writing, setting up your profile on LinkedIn, how to look for work and Interviewing skills. Everyone that has taken the seminar comes out loving it and the information provided.

Classes are no larger than 10 students at a time. The school has modern, up to date HP computers, is super clean and most of all everyone is super friendly and supportive.

My name is Shirley A. (sorry, I am using my son’s google account to write this), and I attended Bergen Blended Academy from December 2016 to March 2017 for their Microsoft Office/Quickbooks training. The teachers are all patient and devoted to preparing the students for re-entering the job market. The classes are very small which make learning very easy since you can always ask questions without fear. For example, my Microsoft Office class had 4 to 5 students and the Quickbooks class had 4. Even though I have 17 years of work experience, I still picked up a lot of technical and accounting concepts in class. Because it is a small school, everybody is very supportive of each other whether it is about a personal situation or just feeling low from not having a job. Also, students and instructors cheer for you when you have an interview!! I had to leave my training program early due to a job offer, but I miss my fellow classmates, instructors, and, most importantly, a safe and nurturing place to go to everyday during this transitional period.

I highly recommend anyone who is looking to continue their education at a low cost and a small student to teacher ratio. Unemployment helped me continue my education and advised I visit 3 schools before choosing one. I went to other schools who were only interested in the money Unemployment paid them and wouldn’t stop calling me to start attending their school. I found Bergen Blended and instantly knew this is where I wanted to be. Kumar is the sweetest most caring person you will ever meet. He didn’t try to sell me his school. He genuinely cared for my well being and me getting education to help me find a job. Although you have to learn material in 4 months,opposed to other schools that teach it in 12-18 months, I am in no debt. I am thinking of actually going back on my own expense to pursue my certification as a Medical Assistant. I will miss my classmates, I will miss Kumar, I will miss Isabel our teacher. In 4 months we had a little family and I will never forget them!

Great school for those looking to bump up their skills or learn new ones.  I for one had no interest in attending a college or taking on a huge student loan.  All I needed was to upgrade my MS Office Admin skills and that what I got.  In 300 hours I got certified and within 3 weeks I was working at a new job.  My friend told me about this school after she went there to learn to become a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.  She is now working at a doctors office and on her way in a new career.  The school also offers Quickbooks Accounting and Computer Networking courses.  Kumar is a really nice guy, who really cares about the students.  Included in the fee ($ under 4,000) is a professional resume created by a Certified Resume Writer and Career Coach, who’s there to help you get a job if you’re looking for one.  If your unemployed, you can get a free ride by applying thru Workforce or if your paying your own way, credit cards are excepted and payment plans are available.  It really is a great little school.  Classes are no bigger than 8 to a class.

I recently had the opportunity to attend Bergen Blended and I am so glad that I chose this school! The atmosphere is very warm & encouraging and the owner/administrator and the instructors go out of their way to help you succeed. I successfully passed the NHA billing & coding certification exam, and also took MicroSoft Office classes which helped tremendously when it was time to apply for jobs. Shortly after leaving the school, I obtained a billing representative job which I’m very happy about! I thought going back to school would be intimidating but the staff at Bergen Blended made it so much easier than I anticipated. My fellow “classmates” helped as well as we studied together and encouraged one another. It’s a great school to pick up life long skills.

After losing my job, I wanted to change my career. I wanted a school that gave me what I wanted in a short amount of time. I found Bergen Blended Academy thru the unemployment agency. When I came in, to speak to Kumar, he explained everything I needed to know without sounding pushy. The location is good and the classes are small. The teachers are very knowledgeable and have a great amount of patience. I highly recommend the school.

I attended a course for CBCS certification and was very please. The instructor Isabelle is amazing. Super friendly, funny and very helpful in all areas. The owner Kumar comes to say good morning to all and welcomes you everyday with a fresh pot of coffee. After sitting for the state exam I have to say that this school truly prepared you. If you are looking for an education in this field I highly recommend you visit and attend this school.

After visiting different schools I choose to attend Bergen Blended Academy. The caring director and staff are superior. They work with the students on a daily basis. They are involved in every aspect of the training program and every students progress. Ms. Perkins is an exceptional teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. My classmates and I have formed bonds that will continue once the program is over. I would recommend this program to everyone.

I highly recommend this school, it has small classes which gives the teacher the chance to work closely with students. Mrs. Perkins was amazing; and Mr. Kumar always helping. Excellent experience at Bergen Blended Academy. The tools and training provided to me from the instructors helped me land my desired job in the Accounting industry. Kumar the school director is excellent in teaching the basics of Accounting which ensures transitioning to Quickbooks seamlessly. As a result, I got certified In Quickbooks and MS Excel in 4mths! Bergen Blended is like a second family. Highly recommend!

Bergen Blended Academy was my first choice when deciding on where to attend school. Mrs. Perkins is the heart of the school. Her knowledge of the medical field is beyond impressive. She is by far the best teacher I have ever had. I am beyond proud and honored to say that she is my teacher.
